Jeremy Lin could have been the first asian-american to win an NBA championship?

Last summer, Jeremy Lin was invited to play for the Mavericks summer league. He played very well and was offered a contract from the mavericks, but went with the warriors instead. If Jeremy Lin signed with the mavs, he would be the first asian-american ever to win an nba championship, and i feel that he would got more play time than he did this season with the warriors (no thanks to Keith Smart). If he had signed to play with dirk nowitzki and jason terry, he would have gain more notoriety within the nba. Hopefully the new coach of the warriors, Marc Jackson, gives Lin some playing time. What do you guys think of Jeremy Lin's future in the NBA?
