Lin is playing a game, where she is trying to score a goal by throwing a tennis ball through a hole in the middle of a large rectangular board. Her game ends if she is succesful. The probability that she scores at any attempt is 1/9. If Lin is unsuccesful in scoring, but hits the board, she is allowed another throw. The probability of Lin missing the board completely without scoring (and is eliminated) at any attempts 2/9.
