Should i care if my boyfriend does these things?

I would appreciate answers from both sexes.... anyway, a while ago i saw on my boyfriends phone that he had his ex's number still in his phone. He has A LOT of contacts in his phone, my name is Lin and hers starts with a k so i passed it going to my contact card. I thought it would be cute to add loves you after my name so when i call or text him it will come up Lin loves you. I passed her name and my heart sunk. He was sitting right with me so he had to have known i saw she was in his phone still. Also, he brings his last relationship up on a regular basis. He never says anything positive, its usually something more like "im so glad that you (do or say this..) my ex used to be (whatever negative thing she did, or said) so its not like he is bringing me down or anything but it keeps her fresh in my mind alot. Also he had never "showed" me her picture before, so i got to thinking about how weird it is to have never seen her, i mean they lived together for a while so i figure i should at least know who she is. When i saw her my jaw dropped, he always says how im the prettiest girl hes ever dated. this girl is absolutely beautiful, yes i am alot younger than her but shes tall and has brown eyes and has this flowing brown hair. NOTHING LIKE ME. im only 5 3 i have a cute shape but im still pretty short, i have blue/green eyes, sandy blonde hair. anywho any kind of advice or input would greatly help me.
