Why does this guy say he likes me and then is like jk?

OK there is this guy I am friends with well we are like BFFS. and he asks me who i like quite often. And I always say roger federer(tennis player). And then I ask him.And the 1x like a week ago. For 30 minutes i went through girls at our school and he was like "you will never guess" and he is like "you" and "no other then you" 10 mins later he like "jk thnx for being a good sport". Then I mentioned another guy firend and he like you love him! And he asked me who i liked again. and i asked him again and he said. u and i wrote something like "u hate me. its super annoying" and he was like " u brought it on urself" I had an incident of screaming when bike ridin ( long story i almost hit a dog) and he didnt make fun of me. And when i saw him today with my friend he said "hey lizzie" and smiled and waved. He comptley ignored my friend which he does know. And i was the one on the phone. So basically does he like me or now?
