What do you think of the name Malin?

my name is Malin and its pronounced Mah-lin. (yes, people pronounce my name maylin alot. it does get annoying) but its pronounced MAH-lin. its a swedish name, and idk if my friends are lying to me when they saythey like my name for being uncommon and stuff. be honest please!!
