Moms boyfriend yelled at me?

Hi everyone, earlier this morning my moms boyfriend yelled at me because, he was picking his daughter up from school and he told my mom he would get me breakfast. When he came home, he told me not to tell my mom and i told him ok. Then, he gave me a lin cuseine to make out of the freezer. Pissed enough, i told my mom and then he found out, and came to my room and yelled at me for at least 2 minutes. Is this illegal in any way? 14 years old
