How do I install off road roof lights for my truck?

I plan to put on 4 roof lights but I don't know anything about them besides mounting. whats the wattage comparison for lights and can i use the stock alternator? If not how much do alternators cost? can someone give me a good low cost but quality setup? 2002 f150
